History

Edge Church called Southside Christian Church in the past is a Pentecostal Christian church. It is a union with Australian Christian Churches called Assemblies of God. Danny Guglielmucci was the pastor of this Edge Church along with his wife. It was established in May of late 1900’s with the help of Pastor Guglielmucci with the capacity of 80 people in O’Halloran Hill, A very small building. One year and half later the church prospered and grew. Since there is a increasing growth of population there is a new for relocation to accommodate these people, hence the church was relocated in Old Reynella Markets in Old Reynella. Oldy Reynella Markets owners build the market for the purpose of becoming a community center but later on agreed to sell it. Over 640, 000 Australian Dollar was given to owners just to buy such property.

Growth of Edge Church

In 2001, Edge Church City which is a second worshipper was established. However, these worshippers had to more several times in 2 years at the same time increasing in number until such time that the church resided in previous Investigator Science and Technology Center building at Adelaide Showground. In 2003, worshippers found a permanent home in here. Westside Assembly of God at Findon made strong friendship with Edge Church for a bit long years. And in 2006, this Westside Assembly of God became Edge Church West. Aside from previous works which Edge Church was involved with, it is has made several associations or alliance with Tabor College Adelaide. Pator Gugliemucci became active in this foundation. Furthermore, the church was also established in United Kingdom in the year 2008 which was led by Jason Gowland. Indeed from that time on there has been huge growth with Edge Church.

Financial Reports

The church has presented annual report which has the record of rise in revenue from 12 per cent to 5.53 million dollar in the year 2007. The net asset base is 11.56 million which came from 4.01 million dollars on its previous years. It was helped with the 4.5 million donations of land and property given by Findon of Westwide Christian Church. Worshippers contribute 1/10 of their income to support the church and based on the financial report presented so far the church members have contributed 3.12 million dollars in tithes in the year 2007 which was greater than the contribution made in the past years which amounts to 2.64 million dollars. Church Issues

In the year 2008, Michael Gugliel mucci who was the son of Pastor Danny Guglielmucci falsely claim of having cancer and with such condition those who believed in him donated large amount of money for medication. It was later found out that he was lying and soon explained that he made it due to great addiction from pornography.
